About the NCFB Hurricane Relief Fund
North Carolina Farm Bureau cares about our farm families and the challenges our farmers face every day. Many of the challenges they face are completely out of their control, particularly the weather. The unprecedented storms of 2018 left many of our states farmers and ranchers in dire circumstances in a time where our agricultural economy had not completely recovered from previous weather disasters and lowered net farm income. We knew that we had to act to help our farm families that were devastated by Hurricane Florence and Tropical Storm Michael. The North Carolina Farm Bureau Hurricane Relief Fund was instituted to compliment other organizations and government agencies who demonstrated a long term commitment to helping farmers and rural communities recover from Hurricane Season 2018.
Today, the Hurricane Relief Fund continues to serve farm families and rural communities that are severely impacted by storms through various assistance and outreach programs.
