Young Farmers and Ranchers Conference
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen:
NC Farm Bureau's YF&R Conference is scheduled January 28 – 29, 2012, in GREENSBORO, NC at the Sheraton Greensboro Hotel at Four Seasons. I urge you to seek out young farmers in your county who would benefit from this leadership experience and encourage them to attend. The State YF&R Committee has planned a program reflecting the interests and concerns of our young farm families. Click here for to see the tentative agenda.
Conference attendees are to register using the Registration Form. PARTICIPANTS SHOULD INCLUDE THEIR FULL EMAIL ADDRESSES. NC Farm Bureau will pay for overnight rooms for young farmers and ranchers attending the conference. Participants will be responsible for their registration fees, transportation, meals not included on the agenda and incidental hotel charges (i.e. phone calls, room service, etc.). Those attending need to pick up their registration packets at Registration Desk 3 between 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 28. Sessions will begin at 9:30 a.m. The conference will conclude at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday, January 29.
A registration fee of $100 per person is required to attend the conference. The fee will be WAIVED for 2012 State YF&R Committee members and spouses, Collegiate YF&R Steering Committee members and State FFA Officers. Attendees may ask county Farm Bureau presidents for sponsorship or pay their own registration fees. Registration fees and the enclosed Registration Form should be completed and returned to Lori Lawrence NO LATER THAN THURSDAY, JANUARY 5, 2012.
