California Tour
The LEAD Team visited several sites in California for their 2008 spring trip. This trip provided the opportunity to see other types of crops grown in the USA, and to also learn of issues and challenges that farmers and ranchers face in California. Issues that we may face in the future.
The trip started near Los Angeles and made its way north to Sacromento. During the journey the LEAD Team visited: Citrus/Avocado operation, Ronald Regan Presidential Library, CFB county offices, fruit and vegtable farm, Old Mission Parrish, wineries, cattle ranch, cheese company, almond tree farm, water plant, CFB headquarters Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, plus many more.
